SERVPRO, a leader in property damage restoration, is seeking a Commercial Estimator to join our team. You'll focus on scoping and estimating large-scale commercial restoration projects from water, fire, storm, and mold damage, supporting business clients with accurate bids and rapid response. This entry-level role provides training for growth in commercial restoration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Pursue identified commercial opportunities and secure restoration projects by building relationships with property managers, facility directors, risk managers, and insurance partners.
  • Conduct on-site scoping of commercial properties (offices, retail, industrial) to understand client needs, assess potential losses, and position SERVPRO’s large-loss restoration solutions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and estimators to develop and present clear, competitive Xactimate-based proposals that outline scope, timelines, and value for the client.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through close, including follow-up, proposal delivery, negotiation, and coordination of onboarding for new projects.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of prospects, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM and project management systems, ensuring visibility for operations and leadership.
  • Stay informed on carrier programs, national accounts, and SERVPRO corporate initiatives (including relevant trainings) to align sales strategies with program requirements and growth targets.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff from sales to operations, proactively resolving questions on documentation, expectations, and client deliverables.
  • Represent SERVPRO at industry events, association meetings, and networking opportunities to grow brand awareness and generate qualified commercial leads.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development (commercial restoration, construction, or insurance-related fields preferred).
  • Basic understanding of commercial property restoration, construction processes, or insurance claims.
  • High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or related field a plus.



  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel across Orange, San Bernardino, and Riverside Counties.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage a high-volume sales pipeline and multiple active accounts.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Xactimate, CompanyCam, DocuSketch, and Matterport, or willingness to learn these tools to support sales discussions and project scoping.
  • Knowledge of IICRC standards, commercial building codes, and large-loss protocols is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and CRM platforms.
  • Strong professional communication skills for B2B presentations, proposal delivery, and stakeholder reporting.
